Vaibhav is an established leader in sourcing and manufacturing high quality, colored gemstones. It has been consistently winning the national awards for highest export in the gemstone category since 1983.

In 1995, as an exercise in forward integration, the company came out with its IPO that was aimed at establishing a world-class jewelry manufacturing facility in India for export of gem-studded gold jewelry.

Today, VGL is the largest exporter of colored gemstones from India, and also the second largest exporter of studded jewelry. It is the only company in the gems and jewelry sector that has a fully integrated manufacturing process from rough gems to finished jewelry all under one roof. The manufacturing infrastructure is most modern, and compares with the best anywhere in the world.

VGL has taken a lead in modernizing the manufacturing process and is now making full use of CAD, CAM systems and modern equipment such as Laser soldering machines. Based on the past performance and the potential this industry offers, the Company has recently expanded its capacity with the establishment of a new 100% Export oriented unit in Jaipur.

The software solution and its implementation are being carried out by VGL Softech Limited, a group company.
