Director of Business Development & Sales
STS is seeking a Director of Business Development & Sales to expand our market share and reach. Position will be based at Austin, TX.
The Job responsibilities will include:
• Asses business opportunities based on product gap analysis and client needs
• Work with internal teams to develop product offerings based on our strengths and client requirements
• Handle all administrative duties related to new business development cycle (e.g. Meetings, Documentation & Record keeping, contract etc)
• Manage, track and report on all ongoing correspondences with prospective client right from the introductory phase.
• Manage sales to newly developed clients on ongoing basis.
The right candidate will have
• Degree in business, marketing and/or 5-10+ years of experience in related field
• Experience in developing and managing sales to Jewelry retailers
• Strong business relationships with major US retailers of jewelry
• Ability to work independently and/or with small cross functional teams
• Eye for detail, creative thinking, self motivated, great inter personal skills and extremely sales oriented

Market Research Analyst.
Job duties: Gather data about competitors' prices, methods of marketing and distribution, and supplier information and terms.
Monitor industry statistics and customer trends as indicated by customer feedback and industry publications. Gather data regarding the effectiveness of the company's advertising and marketing efforts and refine marketing strategies to improve sales and profitability. Track sales and sales trends and make future forecasts in these areas. Using knowledge of the jewelry industry and production times and shipping times, make short and medium range predictions and recommendations to upper management regarding future sales projections and customer trends.
