Vaibhav Gems Limited, or VGL, is a fully integrated jewelry manufacturing company with the complete infrastructure necessary for manufacturing and deliveries of world-class, quality jewelry products.

There are two plants - one for cutting and polishing of gemstones, and the other for manufacturing of gold jewelry.

Gemstone Cutting:
The gemstone cutting facilities occupy an area of almost 20,000 square feet where over 350 skilled cutters, assorters, polishers etc., work at producing over 250,000 colored gemstones pieces - each individually faceted and polished to brilliant finish.

In addition, the company provides work to an additional 450 artisans who work out of their homes.

The operations are fully computerized with a network of over 30 computers working on custom-designed ERP software, which helps in monitoring production and costs efficiently.

Jewelry Unit:
Spread over an area of over 40,000 square feet, the jewelry plant is situated in a special export zone. Over 550 highly skilled employees work at this plant using the latest machinery.

This integrated complex houses the designing, product development, casting, finishing, gold refining, packing, and marketing departments.

The designing and product development department has the latest, Computer Assisted Designing and Rapid prototyping facilities, which helps reduce the product development cycle drastically.

Latest in manufacturing machinery includes, Computerized, vacuum-pressure casting machines. Laser soldering machine, chemical polishing and finishing machines.

A network of over 90 computers, keeps a tab on the customer orders, as they move through the various stages of manufacturing. The custom made ERP software also helps the company monitor gold losses, worker efficiencies and delivery positions.
