Sourcing of Rough Gemstones

STS is constantly on the look out for new ‘finds’ in gemstones, and carefully evaluates these to see if these finds are attractive, and can be presented in commercial quantities. Tanzanite is one such gemstone. Over the years, STS has developed very strong commercial relationships with the mining and procurement sectors spread over Brazil, Africa, USA and other gem producing countries for gemstones such as Tanzanite, Tsavorite, Emerald, and Pink Tourmaline etc.

Manufacturing Gemstones

The ability to convert its ‘finds’ into commercially usable quality gemstones gives STS the strength to deliver. A major gemstone cutting facility in India has over 900 highly skilled artisans and experienced employees working for it. This facility in India is supplemented by an in-house gem cutting operation in Bangkok. Together they help sharpen the edge that STS has in delivering orders on time and with the right quality gemstones.

Manufacturing Jewelry

Four plants in India and Thailand manufacturing studded gold and silver jewelry, gold chains and findings, give STS a combined capacity of over 1.75 million pieces of jewelry. These are modern and efficient centers of production, manned by highly experienced and skilled personnel. The production is aided by, fully computerized processes and inventory controls systems. A custom-made ERP solution ensures that STS succeeds in its mission of being the "best in the industry".
